I don't think I agree with our posted "I don't care what you do against CPU teams" rule... It's creating really unrealistic stats on teams that are exploiting that one phrase in our rules thread. CPU games can very well be used for easy wins for teams who can stomp CPUs, but I don't think they should not be for stat-padding.
I don't mean to point out Tulane... but it's a glaring example, more prevalent than any other team. Granted, I don't know if you're just really good or if you're exploiting something (read: I'm not accusing you--I don't know), but when you're winning games 70-7 and 54-7, how do you also lead the division in 4th down attempts? This seems odd to me. Also, no team should have the NCAA leader in passing yards, and also rushing yards and have a player with twice as many sacks as anyone else in the NCAA.
I think things don't have to be ultra-serious simulation league, but we should have some common sense.
The problem personally is, I don't even want to look at stats and maybe not even do All-Stars again because it's so lopsided.
I hope this doesn't come off jerky, I just didn't know of any other way to bring it up.

Fair enough concerns. I know I've put up some crazy numbers. Offensively, though, it's a little deceiving. With the exception of my opening game - where I was just crazy excited about how good the team performed all game - I haven't been purposely padding anything. I've been able to get out to big leads by passing, and then I tend to just run the ball almost primarily in the second half of games. Again, the first game won't show that, but in my next two CPU games I scored 19 second half points vs Western Kentucky and then 16 vs LSU. That equates out to 2 TDs and 6 FGs. But then vs ECU I had over 400 yards passing, my highest output besides Week 1. I've had at least 25 rush attempts in every game, and in 3 out of my 5 I've had over 30. Defensively - as anyone who's played me can attest to - I blitz almost every play. My DE Tolbert has a crapton of sacks because he had 7 vs LSU. I even told Xeno on here, for whatever reason they never shifted a TE or HB to his side to block him. No glitch, I just manually control the DE on 3rd and long plays. So take away that game, and he has 7 in 5 games. After him, I have 7 other guys who have at least 2 sacks, including my other DE who also has 7. I realize you were just using me as an example because my team's stats do stand out. I'll admit, I even think it's a bit crazy. But I'm not doing anything outrageous or back-handed. Just been lucky. I can't speak for everyone here, but at least for me, I know I'm not purposely doing anything. My backups get to see the field every game. Problem is, my 3-6 WRs are no more than 4 points worse than my top two, my backup TE and HB were my starters last season, and my backup QB is almost as good as the starter. So when they come in, there's not much of a drop in performance.
