I was thinking about how the game did last time I played with the calling holding every time I was about to score and I came to the conclusion the game really has a personal vendetta against me. Seriously. I played last season and the game knocked my top back out and mid season it knocked my qb out and he was really good. I mean win top qb type good, but you know that was the first season so I was thinking those are the breaks.
Then first game of this season it knocked my top D end out of the game for something like 8 weeks. Also the very next game during the first series, it knocked my qb out for pretty much the season. Of course this and the very next games were user games
Game after that my top hb that I redshirted last year and my impact player he was knocked out for 5 weeks on his fourth carry. And that's just the bad stuff. I can't even tell you how many times in game do I have guys knocked out for the rest of the game but they're back the next week.
I fired my strength and conditioning staff and brought a new one in just in case but this game really hates me.

I feel the same way somtimes man. I haven't had any extended injuries, but between my star hb and my qb, I think there has only been three times so far that I've finished a game without losing one or the other

Same here, I've lost my star HB for the season in back to back seasons. Last season, I lost my top 3 HBs at some point for several weeks. Worst part is, the injuries normally happen on an out of bounds play, instead of a legitimate hard hit.

Hah, that made me laugh. But yes, it seems the patches have not only addressed anything they said they would - at least online, I don't play offline - they have made the game's stability even worse. Kind of annoying

we need better sliders. between heisman being retarded and ea breaking the game this game is retarted. first year ever that madden has fair play difficulty and ncaa is broken

And Bri, I agree things are still slanted to the CPU's favor. It's almost amazing how badly skewed things are. We'll keep tweaking man, I promise. We might have to do AA with sliders, or even whatever other sliders Xeno has as well.

There's games that are great, then there's games that are a shitshow. I love these when the game plays normally, so I guess more stability is what I'm looking for

Some of these things can't be helped even with sliders. I have played games with teams that have great O-lines and they block just as crappy as our 1* teams do. I've got a Texas dynasty and in yr 2 they are all mid-to-high 90's and they cant block for shit on an inside run. The run blocking was actually better straight out of the box rather than with all these patches were they have tried to fix it. They only way to fix it would be to crank up the sliders to an unrealistic point but then our lines would never miss a block. Unfortunately the only way to really generate a run game now is to do it out of the spread and pray your guys hit blocks.
