Ok, having a new issue with my game this week against UNM. Whenever their offense calls a play they all come out in a big group and mill around until they bump into one of my players and I get flagged for offsides. If they elect to kick on the opening kickoff it happens there as well. The offense will never run a play. They just mill around until I get flagged and then do the same thing again and again. I have video of the whole thing, just have to figure out how to post it. Links to vids: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YTTdGUCA4M&feature=channel&list=ULwww.youtube.com/watch?v=KJo1O-C1FDQ&feature=plcp

Figured out the problem. Its that New Mexico was controlled by Ed last year. There isn't anything in place to set up the CPU to do anything with the team it looks like.
When you go to choose uni's and playbooks under "Style" its blank for New Mexico. That's why there isn't any direction for the CPU, it doesn't know what to do.

This is another thing brought up in the last patch notes that was supposed to be fixed. Apparently it still wasn't. How in the hell do you allow shit like this to happen if you're EA

I'm beginning to think it called the "We already have your money" strategy.

Just so everyone knows, I tried to play my game again this morning and the same thing was happening. So I dropped out of the dynasty and came back in as the coach of New Mexico to try and fix the issue of the Lobos not having a playbook. I switched their playbook to the original New Mexico playbook and the dropped out again. I then came back as Idaho to see if the situation has been resolved, which at this time it appears that it has.

did that happen because ed was using a custom playbook when he was their coach? or was it just an error from the dropout

Custom Playbook. When I went in, the default playbook for them was empty. As soon as I set it back to New Mexico, the issues cleared up.

Glad I got it taken care of. Otherwise it would have made for a long season for those of us in the WAC.

had to wind up simming this game......this is the first time in years that i had to stop playing a game because of the sheer amount of bullshit that happened to me. every single passing play had a wide open receiver....only problem was one of three things would happen. A). a terrible pathetic drop. B). my quarterback would throw the ball like he was a 3 year old who had multiple shoulder surgeries. or C). a defender would run from the other side of the field to make catches that jerry rice couldnt make. running plays were met with 4+ defenders in the backfield no matter what. Their qb didnt throw an incomplete pass after the middle of the second quarter, routinely firing 30 yard darts between two defenders while spinning and falling backwards. Their runningback would break AT LEAST one tackle per time he touched the ball, often avoiding two or three defenders in the backfield before deciding he wanted to take off down the field. easily the most aggravating game ive ever been a part of in my life, wanted to snap my disc after that one.

I feel your pain Bri. That is exactly what happened to me against Northwestern (No CPU incomplete passes, CPU Defense) and my game against Xeno (dropped passes, random BS). Even my game yesterday against New Mexico had issues once I got it to actually play(CPU had a ton of sacks, comeback AI was on in full). I really don't understand why the crazy variations in gameplay when the settings stay the same.

My UMass game was similar, they could do nothing wrong, especially anytime when I scored/got the lead. I don't so much think it's AI cheating anymore, but that there are moments when the game all of a sudden kicks in the AWR logic all the way up. "Pressure" moments for the CPU teams would be less because their awareness ratings are higher than the person they are going against - DL vs OL, WR vs CB. Subtle reminders that our teams aren't good. Kinda BS if that's what really happens, but the most logical explanation I've been able to come up with.
