Hard Deadline now in place

Ok guys, I think we can all agree our pace has dropped down to snail level. Nothing ruins a Dynasty quicker than not playing games. So starting this week, we will be enacting a hard deadline. Meaning, come Wednesday night if you haven't played your game and haven't contacted hotrod, myself, or posted here on the board, your game will be simmed. I know some of us do have obligations that restsrict just how much time we can play, and those are exactly the ones of us who would get extensions if needed. Just simply say something. But there are times when we are waiting for people who are online very often, and that drags us down. I'm not suggesting giving people the boot, but the pace of the dynasty needs to be maintained. In the time it's taken us to get to Week 6 or so, we normally would have been done with a full season. At times we have gone quicker than expected, and I don't expect daily advances, but barely advancing once per week is ridiculous.
So if there is going to be an issue with getting your game in on time, please just say something. I'm sure we'd all rather know that there will be a delay. This goes for user games as well. Get in touch with your opponents as soon as the week advances. everyone's phone number is posted on here, in the User Teams forum. For those who haven't posted their number or are not comfortable with texting someone, post on here or send a PSN message. If your opponent doesn't get in touch with you or doesn't return your messages and attempts at contact, tell us and they will be put on auto. Simple as that. Let's get this thing rolling again.

preach it gj haha. agreed though lets get this dynasty rolling again. Might just be the people I played but only 2 of my 4 user games were actually against users not on autopilot. leagues at its best with 12 active users and we are advancing every couple days. lets get back to that

I am all for it. I like looking forward to the games and the recruiting. When you have to wait a week to do one of those it takes away from the fun of the dynasty. When you have to sit and wait for an extended period of time, you have to remember what's going on and what you are trying to accomplish. Makes it hard.

I'd say that a standard advance on Wed/Sat would almost work unless everyone gets their game in. I know that a lot of us have things, but that gives you Friday night-Sat morning/day to get it in and the you can double up on Sunday sometime if you have weekends free. If you have more time during the week, then you have Mon-Wed to get it in and Thur-Fri-Sat morning for the other.
